Upon arrival into Toronto, head towards the car hire desk to collect your vehicle, ready for the short 30 minute drive downtown to the popular Holiday Inn Toronto Downtown Centre. This is a fantastic value-for-money hotel with an ideal location, found just off Yonge Street in the centre of midtown Toronto; only a few minutes walk from the Eaton Centre. Facilities include a swimming pool, sauna, restaurant, coffee shop and bar.

Days 2-3

Head south towards Niagara Falls - one of the most iconic landmarks in America. You can get up close using one of the various viewing points - get even closer by boarding the Maid of the Mist as she sails right to the base or walk behind through the Journey behind the Falls. If it is an adventure holiday you are after, try a helicopter ride with an impressive birds eye view over Niagara.

Once you have finished admiring nature at its best, make your way to the Ramada Niagara Falls, conveniently located just two blocks away from the Falls, making this the ideal stop for this evening. The hotel features an indoor swimming pool, a gym and an arcade room for the children.

Days 3-4

Begin your journey back round the western end of Lake Ontario as you head north into the Muskoka Region and into Huntsville. Your hotel is the Holiday Inn Express Hotel and Suites Huntsville, found in the heart of the most amazing landscape in Ontario, within easy reach of the local shops and restaurants. Take the time to explore the breath taking scenery on your doorstep, or relax and unwind at the pool and fitness centre.

You can certainly see why Muskoka is so well known for its stunning landscape - with endless forests and numerous tranquil lakes, it is a perfect stop on your self-drive holiday.

Days 5-6

Continue your journey east as you drive through the Algonquin Provincial Park, offering you another chance to view those spectacular landscapes, before arriving at Pembroke found on the shores of the Ottawa River.
