In 2024 why not mix up your Orlando Holiday and twin your visit to Orlando with The Gulf Coast's beautiful Clearwater Beach. Fly direct from England with one of our partner airlines, Virgin Atlantic, to Orlando where you can hire a car for the duration of your 2024 Orlando Twin Centre Holiday to enable you to drive within Orlando but also onward to Clearwater Beach.

Days 1-10

In the first 10 days of your 2024 Orlando Twin Centre Holiday, you can enjoy everything Orlando has to offer. We suggest staying in either an Orlando Villa or an Orlando Hotel. If you choose to stay in an Orlando Villa, we highly recommend staying on Emerald Island Resort - this Orlando Villa Resort is beloved by all who visit Orlando thanks to its great location (approximately 20 minutes from Walt Disney World) and its great amenities including a communal clubhouse pool and large family homes with private pools. If you choose to stay in an Orlando Hotel, then we recommend The Grove Resort & Water Park Orlando. The Grove Resort offers all the amenities expected of a four-star hotel, plus a water park to enjoy on the days that you fancy relaxing in the hotel.

With so much to see and do in Orlando, it can be overwhelming to know what to prioritise. We believe 10-days well spent in Orlando will include:

Walt Disney World Resort:

No Orlando 2024 holiday is complete without a visit to Walt Disney World Resort. Visit the four main theme parks (Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, and EPCOT) and 2 water parks (Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach). With exciting rides, fantastic shows, beloved Characters and worlds, and so much more, Walt Disney World is a must-visit on your Orlando Holiday!

Universal Orlando Resort:

With two theme parks to enjoy (Universal Studios Florida and Universal's Islands of Adventure) plus an epic water park (Universal's Volcano Bay), there are plenty of thrills, dining, shopping, and endless fun to be had at Universal Orlando Resort on your 2024 Orlando holiday.

Shopping:

Orlando is a true hub of shopping for both tourists and locals alike, and whilst in Orlando be sure to make the most of the Orlando Premium Outlets and the plethora of deals to be had there! There is also plenty of high-end shopping malls like the Mall at Millennia which features an Orlando favourite restaurant- The Cheesecake Factory. A fantastic complex of shopping can also be found at Walt Disney World’s Disney springs. Disney Springs is Walt Disney World’s shopping, dining, and entertainment hub and is home to plenty of High Street stores, including ZARA, but also Disney merchandise stores where you can purchase all of your Disney souvenirs. There are also great restaurants and lots of evening entertainment at Disney Springs that is a must-see on your Orlando Holiday in 2024.

Days 10-14:

After 10 days in Orlando staying at The Grove Resort & Water Park Orlando, or in an Orlando Villa, you will then make your way to Florida's Gulf Coast, specifically to Clearwater Beach. Clearwater Beach is a stunning location on Florida's Gulf Coast that offers a variety of activities and sights to explore. For accommodation, why not stay at the Wyndham Grand Clearwater Beach, which is a luxurious beachfront resort that offers stunning views of the ocean. It features two outdoor pools, a spa, and several dining options that serve delicious food. Plus, its central location allows easy access to many local attractions.

Begin your time in Clearwater by enjoying a sunrise stroll on the beach and then head to Pier 60, where you can watch street performers, shop for souvenirs, and enjoy the sunset. On day two in Clearwater, take a dolphin watching tour, or rent a boat and explore the coast. This will provide you with fantastic views of the entire Clearwater Beach from out in the Gulf. On your second to last day in Clearwater, we suggest visiting the Clearwater Marine Aquarium to see the famous Clearwater Dolphins, or head to the nearby Caladesi Island State Park, which is known for its stunning beaches and hiking trails. Finally, on your last day in Clearwater, we recommend taking a day trip to nearby Tampa to visit the Busch Gardens theme park – home to some of Florida’s most thrilling roller coasters!

Day 15:

On the final day of your 2024 Orlando Twin Centre Holiday, you will say goodbye to Clearwater Beach and head back inland towards Orlando International Airport. From here, you will catch your direct flight back to London with Virgin Atlantic.
