Days 1 – 6
Fly with one of our partnered airlines, Virgin Atlantic, British Airways or South African Airways on an overnight flight from the UK. Upon arrival at Johannesburg airport you will be met and transferred by private car directly to the Black Rhino Game Lodge in the Pilansberg National Park, the National Park is 24 kilometres in diameter and is home to the Big 5. The Black Rhino Game Lodge offers 23 suites with private patio that opens out into the bush. Each suite has an open plan bathroom with a closed toilet. There is a separate bath and shower as well as an outdoor shower. Children of all ages are welcome at the lodge; however children over 6 years old are permitted on game drives. Your stay will be on a full board basis and 2 game drives per day are included.
Morning game drives generally start at around 6am and afternoon games are around 4pm, the times can vary at different times of the year. Heading out in the open safari vehicle gives you the best photo opportunities when encountering the animals such as lion, elephant, leopard, rhino and buffalo. The experienced game trackers will point out the animals and share their vast knowledge as the safari’s take place.
Days 6 – 13
After leaving the Black Rhino Lodge with amazing memories and photos to share you will be transferred to the airport for your onward flight to Mauritius. You will be staying at the Ambre Resort Mauritius on an all-inclusive basis in this adult only hotel. The hotel offers a wealth of wellbeing activities, water sports, 3 restaurants and 2 bars. A short speed boat journey is the island of Ile aux Cerfs offering additional activities, with a 18 hole golf course, numerous water sports, three dining options and excellent spots for snorkelling and sunbathing
While on Mauritius visit the numerous waterfalls, the Botanical Gardens or try your hand at Deep Sea Fishing.
Day 13
Your driver will meet you at reception for your transfer to the airport in time for your flight home.
