Sample Itinerary of Tour of South America

Days 1-2

Fly from London to Santiago with Iberian Airlines, via Madrid.

Days 2-4

Transfer to the hotel, which is the 3 star Providencia, for 2 nights. Once you have got settled in, visit the Concha y Toro winery in Pirque Valley, before touring Cajon Del Maipo Valley for the incredible views of the Andes Mountains.

Tour Chile's capital Santiago to see the cultural sights this city has to offer.

Days 4-5

Fly to Puerto Montt and begin a sightseeing tour of this beautiful region.

You will be staying in Puerto Varas for one night at the 3 star hotel Cabanas Del Lago, which overlooks the lake.

Days 5-7

Journey through the magnificent mountain and lake scenery as you cross the Andean divide to Argentina and onto Bariloche for two nights at the 4 star Crowne Plaza Pan American Hotel.

Enjoy the following morning sightseeing on a tour of Bariloche's spectacular surrounding scenery of the famous Patagonia region.

Days 7-10

Fly to Argentina's capital and head straight to the bustling market area of San Telmo, before settling in at the centrally located 4 star Sheraton Libertador for three nights. The evening entertainment is a Tango show.

The following day up early to take a tour of this vibrant and sophisticated city including La Boca, the port district and Recoleta Cemetery - the resting place of Eva Peron.

The next day is taken up with an exciting high speed catamaran ferry across La Plata, the widest river in the world, to visit Colonia in Uruguay and the quaint Old Town.

Days 10-12

Fly to the Argentinean side of Iguazu Falls, overnight for two nights at the 3 star Sheraton Hotel.

Spend the next day on a trip to Iguazu National Park and view the Argentinean side of the awe inspiring Iguazu Falls.

Days 12-14

Today you head to the Brazilian side of the falls for the spectacular panoramic views from Iguazu River Canyon and the chance to see the falls from a helicopter.

Later in the day take a flight to Rio de Janeiro transfer from the airport to your hotel for the next two nights we have chosen the 4 star Sofitel Rio Palace Hotel, located in front of the world famous Copacabana Beach.

Explore Rio on a city tour which will include the Copacabana and Ipanema beaches before taking a cable car ride to the summit of Sugar Loaf Mountain, return to the hotel and in the evening for a BBQ.

Day 14

This will be your final day in Rio de Janeiro. Travel via a small cog railway up the mountain of Corcovado for a visit to the world famous iconic Christ the Redeemer statue not only is the statue amazing - the views are stunning.

You will also see the Tijuca National Park, before heading to the airport to board the flight on Iberia back to London Heathrow.
