Disney After Hours Boo Bash

Orlando is known for its wild and entertaining Halloween extravagance and all the locals love to get involved by decorating their houses for trick or treaters! Universal’s Halloween Horror Night is the ultimate Halloween experience for adults in Orlando, but for those who are travelling with their little ones and want to enjoy some Halloween fun then Disney’s After Hours Boo Bash is the place to be!

Many of us will be familiar with Disney’s previous Halloween spectacular, Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party, which is yet to return. Instead, Disney are putting on a slightly scaled down, but just as fun, version of their Halloween party: Disney After Hours Boo Bash.

Visitors will be able to enjoy a fun filled evening in Magic Kingdom, where they can trick or treat, enjoy free Halloween snacks and themed character parades. Disney After Hours Boo Bash will run from August 10th to October 31st from 9.30pm to 12.30am.

One of the main allures of Disney After Hours Boo Bash is its focus on trick or treating! The children will love the many trick or treating stations that are handing out sweets and candy around Magic Kingdom! The parades are also a main part of the Boo Bash, and something guests won’t want to miss, including: Mickey’s Happy Halloween Cavalcade, Disney Villain Halloween Cavalcade, Jack’s Nightmare Cavalcade and Maleficent will make an exciting, shapeshifting appearance.

As you would expect, Disney Décor goes all out… and Disney After Hours Boo Bash is no exception! The wonderful Disney Characters will be in full Halloween dress and Cinderella’s Castle will be lit up with a spooky glow! Mickey glowing pumpkins, Devilish décor and mysterious music will be seen and playing throughout Magic Kingdom.

Though UK travellers may not be able to make it to Disney After Hours Boo Bash this year, we will certainly be following along with all the Halloween mayhem and enjoying all the content Disney will publish. We are gutted to be missing the Halloween events this year, as this is one of our favourite times to visit Florida, but have already booked our October Orlando Holiday for Disney next year so we can enjoy Disney After Hours Boo Bash OR Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party if they decide to bring back the event for next year!
