April holidays in Florida
April is an amazing time to visit Orlando with your family as you will get the benefit of having the 2-week Easter School Holiday’s to maximise your time in Florida! Due to the Easter school holiday’s being a busier period for the Orlando Disney and Universal theme parks, many of our guests prefer to stay or spend a few nights in a Universal or Disney hotel that allows them early access to the parks (Disney) or express passes (universal).
April Flights to Florida
At Charter Travel we can offer you exclusive availability on direct flights to Orlando with our airline partners, Virgin Atlantic and British Airways. The seasonal service from Edinburgh to Orlando is also available during the Easter period and other regional airports can be used with indirect flights. Indirect flights are a brilliant option for many of our passengers who are looking to make their trip more budget friendly! Our airline partners such as United Airlines and Delta Airways offer many indirect services to Orlando, Tampa and even Miami to help you get the best price possible! Many of our clients decide to use their indirect flights as an opportunity to turn their Florida Holiday 2023 into a twin centre holiday taking 2-4 nights, for example in New York, Chicago, Washington DC, to break up their journey and also allow them to pack two amazing destinations into one fantastic holiday!
What’s on?
During the busier period at Walt Disney World and Universal Studios Orlando we advise taking a trip to Tampa’s Busch Gardens as it often attracts fewer crowds but has equally thrilling and adventurous rides and entertainment! In April Busch Gardens hosts their own Food and Wine festival for those wanting to indulge their inner foodie! Tampa offers excellent shopping and with the amazing Hard Rock Hotel and Casino why not make a night of it! Car Enthusiasts will love the Exotic car festival that starts in Daytona and finishes at Disney’s Celebration! Disney’s Celebration is a quaint town with endless amenities including an amazing ice cream parlour, shopping and sports bar you can enjoy! Walt Disney World’s Animal Kingdom celebrates Earth Day in April and it is a fantastic opportunity to for the little ones to interreact with the animals and create Disney Memories to last a lifetime!
Where to stay
April in Orlando is one of the busier times to travel and many of our clients love the benefits that staying in a Disney or Universal hotel can offer them:
Universal’s Lowes Royal Pacific Resort is a 4½* premier resort with a variety of restaurants and a large white-sand lagoon-style pool! Staying on the universal complex puts you at the centre of the action just a stone’s throw away from the parks themselves! This hotel also comes with the benefit of offering guests access to express passes for the nights they stay at the hotel. Universal’s 5* Hard Rock hotel also comes with this benefit and lets you relax in style! Talk to our specialists about access to Universal express passes and how staying at a Universal Resort hotel can offer you fantastic time and money savings during the busier periods!
