Mardi Gras

Mardi Gras in New Orleans is a one-to-three-month period where the streets of New Orleans come alive with music, performers, food, art and revellers in the festivities. Technically, Mardi Gras is only one day of festivities that make up the New Orleans Carnival. Mardi Gras and Carnival are, contrary to popular belief, both family friendly and adult festivities. There are designated family friendly parade watching spots in New Orleans that are perfect for when you're travelling with the little ones - they will especially love catching all the beaded necklaces from the floats! Universal Orlando Resort also celebrate Mardi Gras, and many long-time Orlando visitors love to visit New Orleans, even as a Twin Centre Holiday with Orlando, to check out the real Mardi Gras after loving it at Universal Orlando for so long!
