This tour of Australia will certainly be leaving you wanting more of the laid back Australian lifestyle.

Days 1-8

Fly from London Heathrow to Sydney with a short stop in Singapore en route. The flight will leave in the evening and land into Sydney in the morning, 2 days later. Upon arrival in Sydney, which is known for being one of the oldest cities in Australia, you will immediately feel the laid back and outdoor living atmosphere in the surrounding area. Transfer from the airport to your hotel. You will be staying at the Cambridge Hotel Sydney which is centrally located to all the major sights and attractions and is just minutes by foot from Hyde Park and Oxford Street.

The first experience on your trip of a lifetime will be to climb Sydney Harbour Bridge and take in the breath taking views. In the afternoon you will head down to Circular Quay to embark on a cruise around the harbour which will end in the evening after viewing the amazing sunset.

Visit the world famous Bondi Beach. This is an unforgettable experience for those who love the ocean as surfing here is incredible. You will have lots of stories to share back home with your friends and family. If you are feeling peckish after all that surfing, spend some time dining at one of the restaurants Bondi Beach has to offer, or if you prefer head to the Rocks, where you will find lots of great bars and eateries.

Days 8-18

Make an early start and pick up your car from the local Avis car hire centre and start the sightseeing trip from Sydney to Brisbane, better known as the Pacific Coast Highway. Your first port of call will be the Hunter Valley, where you will stop off for a spot of beach walking or fishing. The Hunter Valley is a great place to enjoy an overnight wine tour at the Hunter Resort Country Estate.

Next up is Port Stephens, which is approximately 55 miles from Hunter Valley. Enjoy a dolphin watching cruise here and stay overnight at the Peppers Anchorage Resort.

From Port Stephens is the longest part of the drive, 280 miles to Coffs Harbour however there is plenty to see along the way including local trades, beaches, galleries and restaurants. Here you will stay one night at the Novotel Coffs Harbour Pacific Bay Resort.

We recommend you make an early start the following day to make the most of the beautiful scenery you will see along the route from Coffs Harbour to Byron Bay. You will have the chance to stop and enjoy some of the fantastic local fashion boutiques with 2 nights at the Bryon Resort and Spa. Enjoy a leisurely morning stroll to the Cape Byron Lighthouse which sits on the most easterly point of Australia and spend the afternoon on the surf beach - perhaps even try a surf lesson or two. Finally you will drive north from Byron Bay to Brisbane, crossing the border into Queensland.

On day 15 be up early and head for the zoo. This is not just any zoo - this is the famous Australia Zoo, made famous by the late Steve Irwin. Enjoy the day seeing all the amazing animals, watching the shows and find out more about Australias various species.

On day 16 you will create some more memories by spending a full day whale watching. Between May and November, the graceful Humpback Whales migrate along the New South Wales coast. You will spend the day aboard the MV Eye-Spy with running commentary and an introduction to these magnificent mammals. The day promises to be thrilling and packed full of fun and excitement and includes morning tea, buffet lunch and afternoon refreshments. We recommend you make sure your camera is fully charged.

Spend the day at Fraser Island on day 17. The trip will take you across the Noosa River bound for the Cooloola National Park. You will travel along the spectacular Seventy Five Mile Beach before a guided rainforest walk then move on for a traditional Aussie BBQ on the beach. After lunch, take a swim in the fresh water Lake McKenzie. To finish off the day, be exhilarated with a driver along remote beach stretches before returning to Noosa.

Days 18-23

It is now time to leave the area of Brisbane and head further North to Cairns on a short flight for your final sights of Australia. The next 5 nights will be spent at the 5 star Sea Temple Resort and Spa in Port Douglas. Located near the secluded four mile beach, the Sea Temple Resort is the perfect base and final port of call to relax and unwind. The resort is the perfect base from which to visit the Great Barrier Reef, Cape Tribulation, the Daintree Rainforest and drive the famous Captain Cook highway.

We will pre-book you the trip of a lifetime to the Great Barrier Reef on board the famous Quicksilver. You will be taken to the very edge of Australia's Continental Shelf for an unforgettable Outer Reef adventure. Dive, snorkel or enjoy the amenities on board with a hot and cold buffet served during the day. This is the perfect opportunity for underwater pictures full of vibrant colour!

On day 20 You will have picked up your car hire from Avis rental the night before, so you will be ready to begin your own leisurely exploration of the area, beginning with the wonderful scenic drive on the Captain Cook highway. This is a fabulous stunning coastal drive that will take you through Mossman and onto Cape tribulation, passing through Aboriginal country and taking some of the wonders of the Aboriginal culture.
