This India Kerala and Maldives holiday combines India's and the Indian Ocean's most spectacular experiences into one tailor-made trip. From the moment you land in India to the day you depart the Maldives, your private driver, expert guide and all logistics are taken care of - so all you need to do is soak it in.
Your package includes all flights, 7 nights' accommodation in India with daily breakfast, full board on the Alleppey houseboat, and 5 nights all-inclusive in the Maldives with return speedboat transfers. As with all Charter Travel holidays, every element can be tailor-made to your dates, budget and preferences.
Once you land in Cochin, you'll be welcomed by the different, lush world of Kerala. An evening Kathakali dance performance sets the tone beautifully. The next morning, travel up into the hills to Munnar, Kerala's most spectacular hill station, with emerald tea plantations stretching to every horizon.
Spend a day exploring Munnar's highlights - Eravikulam National Park, the Tea Museum, Echo Point and Mattupetty Dam. Then transfer to Periyar for a Spice Plantation Tour through lush cardamom and pepper groves.
Enjoy a boat safari on Periyar Lake which may reward you with sightings of elephants and tigers. Continue to the Kumarakom backwaters to unwind, then board a traditional wooden houseboat in Alleppey for a full day and night gliding through Kerala's tranquil canal network, past rice paddies, fishing communities and swaying coconut palms.
Transfer to Cochin Airport for your flight to Malé, then transfer by speedboat to your island resort.
